Lore: Leonard has walked the land for countless years and has been at death’s door time and again. He has found a familiarity with it, and begun to harness that power. He has learned that to avoid taking that final step through Death’s Door one need only have someone else answer. With that knowledge came the power to rip open Death’s Door and force it onto whoever he saw fit. One day, of his own choosing, Leonard will step through, but until then beware.

With those bits of lore out of the way it’s on to the album! Hunted is the second studio album by American doom metal band Khemmis, and I am looking at the alternate cover art. The Denver based band has some truly amazing covers that are rife for inspiration. The image of the pitch black door really spoke to me this time around, and I really wanted to make a spell, so here we are at Death’s Door!
